Is there a problem in CHAT?

All the threads I try to open in chat just won't open...especially the one I started my very own self.
I can open threads in all the other topics ...just not chat, and not my thread. I can see my thread and it sort of pretends to open, but then stops half way.
Any ideas?

That is very odd, Chat looks absolutely fine from where I'm sitting. What device are you using?

I am on an iPad. I can see the thread, but I cant join in (especially frustrating as it is MY thread)
I can open all other threads, just not chat.
