Question about threads "I'm watching".

HermioneHatesHoovering · 14/08/2012 02:17

Hi,

When a watched thread gets a new reply does it come up to the top of the list in my watched threads? If not is there a way to do it as at the moment I have a lot of watched threads and have to keep trawling down the page to see if any have replies.

Thanks

Click on the 'sort by' arrow to put them in the order you want.

Hi doinmummy,
I don't have a "sort by" arrow, just a box that gives me the options to "remove" or "bump and reset"??

Click on 'I'm on' then underneath is some blurb and it should say customise.

Next to 'how many threads' is the option to put them in what order you want.

doinmummy · 14/08/2012 02:45

It says sort by click on the arrow to change the order you want them in.

Sorry I'm the worse explainer.Grin

I'm sorry ...complete div that I am, I've just realised you are looking at your 'watch' list. I dont know how you put them in order.

You could 'mark your place' on a thread by posting 'just marking my place'. Then it will appear on your 'I'm On' list and you will be able to sort them into most recent.

HermioneHatesHoovering · 14/08/2012 02:51

OK thanks I've looked there but it's threads "I'm watching" (which is directly to the right of threads "I'm On") that I'm trying to customise but there doesn't seem to be a way to do it?

Well you did try, so thanks anyway. I just don't think that it's possible to do what I want, maybe I'll get tech to look at it. Appreciate your replies Grin

I'd like to know this too please. How to sort watched threads so the ones with the latest replies are at the top?

RowanMumsnet · 06/06/2013 19:19

Hi there

I don't think this is something you can do at the moment (although I could be wrong!). We'll add it to our wishlist but I'm afraid we can't promise any action on this any time soon - Tech's to-do list is already a bit overwhelming!
