Question about the moon thingy

AbsofAwesomeness · 02/08/2012 13:46

Edam wants to know whether or not the rumours are true - is the moon thingy on the top right hand corner so that we can start reading barking threads, then see the moon thing and be all "oh, it's full moon, that's why" and not flounce

OR (new theory)

You're experimenting with this whole theory about women living together's menstrual cycles end up aligning, but on a GIANT WEBSITE basis. This is then going to be used to take over the world (imagine all the MNers getting PMT at the same time, and then there's a thread about Westminster banning mars bars or something, and someone suggests we storm the place and then TAKE OVER THE GOVERNMENT, installing Carrie in place of David Cameron and Hully instead of George Osbourne)

OR

There are people in MNHQ who are werewolves.

TIA

The moon has been there for ages.

I think it's a joke, not convinced there are really more bonkers threads at a full moon.

AbsofAwesomeness · 02/08/2012 13:57

Okay, so maybe not theory 1, but come on Trills, theory 2 or 3, both pretty valid ...

I think it is a joke about theory 1

HellenicGamesMumsnet · 02/08/2012 16:42

I think all theories are TOP STUFF.

Tee2072 · 02/08/2012 16:44

Theory 3. For sure. ::taps nose::

BertieBotts · 02/08/2012 16:45

If you click on it, it says theory 1 is correct.

laudinum · 02/08/2012 16:45

Or theory four.

HellenicGamesMumsnet · 02/08/2012 16:46

Of course, there is a Theory 5. But only Justine and Carrie know that one...

Trills · 02/08/2012 16:48

Clicking on it just tells you what they want us to think

Tee2072 · 02/08/2012 16:48

Tapes up mirrors? Been reading Jonathan Hoag?

Me too

AbsofAwesomeness · 02/08/2012 16:57

I totally think it's theory 2. MNHQ has been sizing up the competition for years, inviting all these politicians on for "chats", in reality it's "sizing up the competition". And all the biscuit questions? BRIBERY.

I would like to take this morning to submit my application for Cabinet Candidacy, when MNHQ takes over. Thanks

Not morning. Opportunity

Tee2072 · 02/08/2012 19:04
