How do I find out why my thread has been deleted?

Are you sure it was deleted? You should have gotten en email from HQ.

The one on MH? Olivia came on about 1030 last night and said it was going to be deleted, no explanation was given. I would have thought they would email you to let you know why.

I didn't get an email from them. Any idea why it was deleted? There were only a couple of replies last time I looked.

No, Olivia didn't give a reason. Just said it was being deleted.

It has turned into a very sensitive subject for MNHQ.
It also looks like a certain poster has been pming her,and that could be sensitive for MNHQ too.
Cant say I am surprised they have deleted it.

amillion They haven't deleted the other thread requesting pms though. All very odd.

The thread was removed as it was not in the spirit of Mumsnet and turned into a bit of a bunfight with some troll hunting thrown in for good measure.

We do not always mail someone when we delete a thread, we tend to post on the thread before it is zapped. Although we are always happy to explain should the OP mail in.

I dont remember the bunfight,perhaps it changed after I went to bed.

Didnt see troll hunting either,if you mean by troll hunting,was the person being spoken about real,which I think we all believe she is.personally I am at a loss anymore to understand the meaning of troll hunting.Off to read MN rules yet again.
