Namechanging and the iPhone app

For the last couple of days, I have had to log in using this old old name cause I can't use my new version - both on laptop and on iPhone.

I was last logged in using blog name (cause was posting on blog topics) ie SaltandCaramel.

This morning I wanted to use iPhone app but can only log in as MmeLindt, and can't change to other name.

I'm also constantly having to re-enter password when I use different gadget - I have 2 iPhones, iPad, laptop and a netbook. When I use a different machine, I have to log in anew.

Anyone else having issues with logging in?

I don't namechange, so I can't answer to that, but I an logged in to at least 4 devices right now with no problems regarding having to login.

I have heard others say the same recently, though, so maybe I'm just special?

Have you tried turning off the app completely and relaunching it? I find that clears saved data for some apps. I don't use the app so can't know if it will work in this case!

I've namechanged a few times but no problems here. Both the app and desktop site just ask for my user name and password again.

I don't think you need to delete the app, just double click your home button to bring up your active apps across the bottom of the screen, hold an app down until it wiggles, press the + sign in the corner of the MN App. That will shut it down completely.

So then select it again and see how it goes.

I have always had to login again if I try to use MN on a machine of any type that I haven't used for a while - for example, one of the PCs in the suite at school. But once that has happened, even if I tick 'Keep me logged in' I will still have to login again on each of my regularly used devices - iPhone, iPad, home MacBook, home PC, work PC and work iMac Once I've done that, I stay logged in until I use another machine that's not one of my regular ones.

It doesn't happen very often (usually only if I'm in school during the holidays and I get bored when waiting for something to install/update on one of the suite PC's or the server and go on MN while I'm waiting)

Ok, aside from the app - why is MN now insisting on me using this old name that I haven't used for years? It won't let me log in under a new name.

Normally, when I namechange, the next time I log in it asks for the current name. At the moment it reverts to MmeLindt.

I've had the same problem too. I killed my alter ego in the end. Sob.

I tried logging in with MmeLindt then logging out and logging in again. It seems to work, but it is annoying if I have namechanged and want to post on iPhone

We do care, Stitch (and MmeL). Sorry for being late to this.

Have absolutely no idea what's going on, though, so we'll ask Tech to have a look at this one.
