A few pointers please

Ok, I have a list of threads I watch / contribute on but every now and again they disappear. For example the other day I was on the AIBU thread about nurses and midwives in the nhs being unfairly treated. I went to look today and it has gone from my lists. Is this because no one has contributed for a few days? How do I stop this from happening?

Also of I want to add a link how do I get it looking all posh and adding just 'click here' rather than the whole link? I get link envy. Help

I am not MNHQ obviously but with the link thing there is some help given at the bottom of the page if you are on the full site.

Copy the link you want and paste it enclosing it in 2 sets of square brackets at the beginning and end, it gives the link:

If you do the first set of double square brackets, paste your link, put a space in after the pasted link, add the words you want people to see, then finish with another set of 2 square brackets, you get this:

Look up there ^^ there is customise and you can choose how long your "threads I'm on" is active for.
