long threads crashing mobile site

does anyone know is it on my side or MNs side? If I click on a thread with more than 3/400 posts the whole mobile site shuts down on my phone, internet closes, the lot. I know at least one other person had this problem too, so wonder is it the phone or MN mobile site at fault?

mine freezes, then shuts. And nowhere near threads that size either, on an iphone 3gs. Yes I know it;s old, but no excuse. and I can't see PNs either grrrr.

Mine is galaxy s2. I only have it since march, so can't be that. It drives me mad, I can't post on any blanket threads from my phone.

Hi, FTU, have you tried changing your preferences so that you get, say, 50 messages per page?

I think I had unlimited messages per page, is that why? I will change them now and see if it works :)

[thick alert] do you need separate preferences set on the mobile app or can it be done on the main site via computer? I don't have 'unlimited messages' to view on the laptop, so surely wouldn't have on the app... I thought I was ok at techy stuff too [misguided]

afaik I didn't have separate settings, think it was customized to my user name? but now I have changed it on my phone to 50 per page and lap top remains at unlimited?
It's not crashing it now, but is a real pita finding posts on separate pages
