Is anyone else having trouble accessing Mumsnet.

I can access via mobile but not via my broadband connection.

Traceroute gets as far as evr1.London1.Level3.net

Is this an issue with a routing server at Level3, an issue with my isp (plusnet) a server issue at dsc, or something else.

Any ideas anyone?

Hiya nannynick
That sounds weird.
Will see what we can find out
Thanks

.Thanks Oliva. Expect it may be nothing any of us can do anything about, as it looks like a data routing issue.

I get something similar which I have named the orange page of doom, t'is when t'internet is busy I presume as happens at peak access times hq have a hangover from all the pub visits and requires you to engage with rl as you have a slower t'internet connection than them speedy cable using people wear a tinfoil hat.

I could access other sites netmums so my tin hat fibre is working.

I've had it on other sites never been to netmums at peak times not just here when HQ have a hangover.

Do you have a timeout limit on your settings, you could try increasing the time it will allow for connections before timing out, mines set to 3mins and will display the message then, in peak access times it'll take longer to connect than 3mins I live in the dark ages where cable is a holy myth to be worshipped with wonder and awe much like the sun

Maybe a network routing problem at ISP Plusnet. Another user has tweeted me saying they have same problem accessing mumsnet, they use the same ISP.

Anyone using Plusnet able to access?

I'm able to access again via broadband. Tracert is getting a bit further, though not completing but hey it's progress. Something must have changed somewhere at Plusnet, Level3, or somewhere else.
