I saw the Boden is frumpy type thread today on active topics. I saw it referred to there in another thread. I put "Boden frumpy" into the search box and got a list of other threads back. I would expect it to be first on the list, and I would expect that the results would come back with a date, so that I would know before clicking on them how relevant or out of date they would be.

It has frustrated me in the past as well with other searches.

Hi yellowbottle. Yes, we know Advanced Search is not so good at picking up more than one word as a keyword (that's on Tech's Long List of Fixes to Do).

But in this case of yours, all you need to do is restrict the search to today (put today in both the 'from' and the 'to' way), and you'd definitely find that thread in your search results.

HTH Smile

Actually, while you are there,HelenMumsnet,I would like to thank you for MNHQ appearing to be more prompt with replies lately.
I have complained about this in the past, but it does now seem to have improved. Also,I have said in the past about lack of staff, and there now seems to be a couple of new names at Mumsnet MNHQ.So thank you. Smile
