Viewing profiles...

....I've just tried to view someone's profile and I find I can't- nothing happens when I click on the person's name. Can you hide them or am I doing something wrong?

It may be that the person hasn't got their profile public, like me. You can't click on me (though you can on an old me)

I keep thinking about sorting mine out, but want to be witty with it, which I am not sadly. I think most people are private, though I could be wrong, Ive not actually looked into it properly.

If you hover your curser over their name you will either get a hand like on yours (lovely pics of your DD BTW - sorry couldn't help but look) or you get a I shaped thing like on mine.

It's not obligatory to have a profile - or, rather, a public profile. Loads of MNers don't have public profiles, including me.

BTW, FartB, I get a hand shape when I hover my cursor over both your and seeker's names - so I'm not sure what you mean about your I shape, or why you've got a different shape? Just curious.

Oh - I see. Have you changed your profile from private to public today, FartB, hence the change in shape?
