Threads not showing as 'read'

It used to be that any thread I had clicked into showed up as purple in the topic list and any I hadn't clicked into showed as blue.
Since yesterday though, all threads are remaining blue, whether I've read them or not.
Don't know if this is just a 'funny' with my set-up, or if it's new policy? If the former, any chance someone could have a look and fix it for me?

I have been having the same problem here. Very annoying. I keep opening the same bloomin threads as I'm too pissed busy to remember the titles I have read!

Yes, it is. I've just clicked into the 'To report my landlord...' and the 'Can't be bothered with all this Jubilee stuff...' threads on AIBU and no colour change .

Oh dear. Are you using MN on your phone or on a desktop? And what browser are you using?

I'm on a laptop and at the moment am using Windows Explorer.

I'm guessing this is going to be one of those 'only pops up randomly and bloody difficult to replicate' type bugs then...

Hi there, we've spoken to Tech and they think this is a cache problem on your browser, there are instructions on how to clear this here.

Sorry for the delayed response on this one. No, have cleared the cache, but the colour change still isn't working . If it's more likely to be browser than site though I'll do a bit more digging on this side.
