there is a big hole in the topics and no where to post once you child is an adult and you are facing the terror of post 19.

Yes- as ds1 gets older (hits his teens December) we eye up the future systems and realise how different they are, I can absolutely see the need for this

Because, if so, we hope you haven't got the wrong end of the stick.

The idea of the thread in SN was to consult all Mumsnetters who use the SN boards which topics, if any, were underused and not worth keeping, and which topics - including possible new ones - should remain.

If you'd like to see a post-16 SN topic, there's no reason why we shouldn't have one...

I no longer use the sn board as I don't fit there. which Is why I posted here.
I do wonder if it would be and idea if it was seperate from the sn children part though as once you are post 19 you are an adult.

Think it would be a great idea DS is going to be 18 soon and kids section is no good for me.

There certainly should be a place within SN where you (and others) could post about SN young adults. We'll add that to the new mix.
