Can you de-register nick names you don't use anymore?

BlueRinse · 26/04/2012 21:51

I have a massive small list of NN's I have registered over the years that arn't relevant to me anymore.

Halloween/christmas name changes, pissed and thinking I'm funny name changes and then those that I needed to post about bumsex serious matters.

Is there a way to free these very thoughtfull names back to the masses or am I stuck with an untidy history forever?

Cheers Olivia, whilst you're at the bosses desk can you ask why we have been off line for ever again tonight please?

Ack, we don't mind the odd sojourn to the dark side. Haven't found out yet but I suspect that you may just need to hold on to them.

The last time we did nickname amnesty it was V complicated and Tech had a nervous breakdown sense of humour failure.

BlueRinse · 27/04/2012 22:53

So the reason I have to clutter up my NN history with years of easte, haloween & christmas name changes + lots of other shit is because Tech can't cope?

I am available for freelance organisational projects if you are interested.......?

I had an off line episode too . I went over to digital spy though not the huns

KeemaNaanAndCurryOn · 28/04/2012 08:46

I go over to the huns occasionally, but I keep forgetting I can't swear so my posts look very random.

I even have a ticker. Sadly, its a pregnancy one and I am currrently around 120 weeks over due as I never got round to removing it after I had DD.

2ombie5layer · 28/04/2012 09:04

BlueRinse · 28/04/2012 11:38

OP posts:
2ombie5layer · 28/04/2012 11:43

What do you mean BlueRinse

BlueRinse · 28/04/2012 12:39

Your 2 & 5 instead of z & s?

OP posts:
2ombie5layer · 28/04/2012 12:44

Ive always had those, well since I changed from notveryinventive in Jan/Feb/Mar time. I had it like that because on another internet forum I wasn't allowed zombieslayer so had the 2 and 5 instead. That was years ago now.

There is a zombieslayer with the z and s somewhere around here. It is a bit confusing and I have decided to namechange today (more because Im bored with it now), Ive had 4 names today Grin, Im going to be acussed of sock puppeting at this rate Grin

BlueRinse · 28/04/2012 14:03

My mistake, I am confusing you with ZombieSlayer!

I'm trying out a name change this week, I'm having to avoid long running threads that I have posted on in my regular name - Bohica for thhat very reason!! Grin

Hello

I'm afraid I think the answer is - you're stuck with an untidy nickname history. Sorry. that'll learn you

As Olivia said, the nickname auction was a tremendous kerfuffle and we don't really have the resources to do it regularly.

BlueRinse · 06/05/2012 22:02

I forgot to check back Blush

I have found one NN to do with me putting another posters Knickers on my head [confussed] I don't remember creating that one must have been pissed Grin
