Problems on mobile site with iPad 2

Tech, I am still having problems with accessing the mobile site.

If I use my saved shortcut to m.mumsnet.com/talk I get lots of text, and no pictures. Every single topic is listed (there are a lot of MN locals). It looks like a text only version of the desktop site, rather than the custom designed mobile site.

So am I with ipad 3 (or whatever the new one is known as). On Active Conversations all the threads are squashed together and on each thread the formatting looks all weird. Am using rhe non mobile version as mobile too hard on the eye.

Is fine on iPod touch though

I use safari to access it as i find the mobile site annoying, is that an option? (ipad2) i also have an icon on my homepage

Mobile site is fine on my iPhone though.
