But is there any chance I can put a petition up on MN? I am trying to get as many signatures as possible for my daughter and other children with microtia ( no ear) to get a hearing aid. At the moment itis a massive postcode lottery and I am trying my best to get consistency across the board.

There are so many good causes, and so many that MNetters have strong personal reasons for wanting to support.

I've always assumed the reason was that if one were allowed, then to be fair all would needful be. And then the site would be swamped.

(At least my guess at an answer will bump this back into active convos for you).

You're right! I have it all over fb and twitter Grin Thanks for bumping though - and that is a really good point

NO! Smile

Afraid Edith Weston is right, sairygamp. We don't allow petition threads - however worthy the cause - because the boards would just get overrrun.

But we do wish you all the best with your own - and we hope your daughter gets her hearing aid soon.

totally understand. Thanks.
