disappearing threads

Just wondered why threads just suddenly disappear.
I started one earlier in general health and just went to look at it and the only way I can get to it is "I'm on".

Have you prev hidden gen health as a topic?

No. I don't know how to hide threads or topics.

Have you pressed hide by mistake?

Just noticed the hide this thread thing above this box I'm typing in but I don't think I pressed it.

How would I un hide it if I had?

How strange! I wonder where it has gone. Perhaps MN has a Bermuda triangle where things just disappear!
