Dear MNHQ - if we can't have an evil grin smiley ....

.... please may we have an innocent one instead? A smiley with a halo would work a treat. I suspect [innocent] will be of far more use to mumsnetters (because we are such angels) - though we could have fun with an evil grin smiley too (smiley with little red horns - just sayin').

Pleeeease?

I've been begging for an evil grin smiley for years! I would use it all the time...

D0oinMeCleanin · 14/03/2012 21:57

Oh yes. An innocent smiley. Perfect.

[innocent]

Psammead · 15/03/2012 11:07

I like both of these ideas.

SlightlyJaded · 15/03/2012 11:08

another vote for innocent, twould be tres useful

MadameOvary · 15/03/2012 11:11

YY to both.

Grumpla · 15/03/2012 11:13

Not as useful as the cat's-bum-mouth emoticon.

Gawaaaaahn!

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 15/03/2012 11:44

Blatherskite - apparently it's because we'd use an evil grin smiley too much that MNHQ the rotten meanies won't let us have it.

I agree, we need a catsbum mouth one too.

Aeons ago I asked for a MNmiserablefucker version (when the MN classic and muted stuff came out) NO emoticons allowed.

You could call it MN stark if you want to be poncey.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 15/03/2012 11:54

Or MNPuritan?

SoupDragon · 15/03/2012 12:04

Or you could, you know, just type [innocent] which conveys the same thing and conjures up the same image.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 15/03/2012 12:22

BUT I WANT A SMILEY!!!

HelenMumsnet · 15/03/2012 12:26

Sorry. We've no plans for new smileys at the mo, folks. Tech might self-combust if his To Do List got any longer

And we can't, for the life of us, think what on earth you'd need an evil grin one or an innocent halo one for, anyway. [innocent]

YouChangeWithTheWeather · 15/03/2012 12:32

I still think the old BMC 3) smiley is required.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 15/03/2012 12:39

I can't quite decide whether to be miffed that we aren't getting any more smileys, or all overcome that Helen came onto my thread and answered it!!

OP posts:
SilentBoob · 15/03/2012 12:46

Oh Lord no.

[evil grin] and [innocent] smilies are a bit 'you don't have to be crazy to post here... but it helps!!!'
