Could we have that thing where you hover over a thread title, it shows the first post?

Then, especially when things are running a bit slowly like tonight, it saves me waiting for the page to load when it's an unrevealing thread title ie 'AIBU to tell DH...' that turns out to be a waste of time OP ie '..that the label of his shirt is sticking up?'

I do like this facility on other forums, it really helps you seperate the wheat from the chaff

Or we could just have anyone who finishes their thread title with an annoying "dot dot dot" ritually disembowelled.

I agree - it is very annoying when you get half a sentence in the title and the post turns out to be a load of crap. Even if the hovery thing only showed you the first two sentences it would help.

Thanks for this suggestion; we will add it to Tech's 'for your consideration' list - but please bear in mind that Tech's to-do list is ridiculously long at the moment, so there's unlikely to be any definite decision on this for a while!
