WTF have you done to the Topics A-Z list?

Is it part of a subtle plan to drive all pedants screaming from the site?

For your future reference, alphabetical order is as follows:
A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K,L,M,N,O,P,Q,R,S,T,U,V,W,X,Y,Z

Where are the topics? Am using mobile site on Android phone and all the main headings are there but if you click on one then the actual topics aren't. If that makes any sense.

I'd hoped that when it came back, it would stay on A-Z once you'd changed it....

Also that the Mumsnet Local list could be 'Click here to see list' instead of having to scroll past every single locality in the country except Wokingham to get to the second half of the alphabet.

it's not fixed for me, not really. Well the A-Z part is, I guess, but the main list of topics now has them in A-Z order within each category, rather than in some sort of priority like it was before. So under education, for example, you used to be able to see the popular ones of the 'education', 'primary education', 'secondary education' and 'more' (where all the other topics hid). Now it's all in alphabetical order, so you have to click on 'more' even to get to some popular topics, whereas some hardly used ones are now first in the list.

Under Mumsnet stuff, 'site stuff' is much harder to find now!

It's not fixed for me at all. Now using Mumsnet Classic on firefox and if I click onto any of the headings, there isn't anything more. And if I do A-Z there are no topics at all. I have hidden some topics but occasionally like to go in there (like Relationships and AIBU) and now I can't.

Will try Mumsnet New but am Not Happy

Tech - I don't think your overnight fix worked. MN Classic on Firefox and the A-Z thing shows nothing at all, the non-A-Z thing shows the main headers but not the sub-categories. Does that make sense?
