Only on the mobile version. Tis rather disconcerting. Any ideas?

I've had similar. Delete the history & see if that helps. It's helped me but not 100% right

RowanTheRedNosedMumsnet · 30/12/2011 22:08

Oh. Um. Ah.

Does it take you back with just one click, or do you mean that you can get back to Boxing Day if you click Back often enough?

OhBuggerandArse · 30/12/2011 23:01

Just one click. If you reload it comes up with the genuinely active conversations, but if you then read a thread and click 'back' to go back to the list you end up back on Boxing Day.

Why then I wonder, and not Christmas Day, or Halloween, or the Royal Wedding day? Was there a Disturbance in the Internet?

It certainly sounds like a glitch in the matrix doesn't it?
Which browser are you using?

Libra · 31/12/2011 09:56

This happens to me too. Takes me back around a week when I am using the ipad.

Nettee · 31/12/2011 09:59

And me sometimes, also an I pad user

CatPussRoastingByAnOpenFire · 31/12/2011 17:51

i get this when I use the full site on Safari! I thought it was just me!

Tee2072 · 31/12/2011 18:02

I've had similar for awhile on Mobile Site, using my iPhone and Safari. I was assuming I had something set wrong in my prefs on my phone so it wasn't refreshing.

But maybe it's not me...

Iggly · 31/12/2011 18:05

Happens to me and has done for weeks maybe months. I just hit refresh now (mobile and full site on iPhone and google chrome)

RowanTheRedNosedMumsnet · 31/12/2011 18:54

Righto

Hands up those of you on iPads, please (or those of you NOT on iPads if that makes it easier)

HarrietJones · 31/12/2011 19:25

iPhone. Mobile version on safari.

BloooCowWonders · 31/12/2011 19:27

I get this all the time. It takes me back to a random date somewhere in the past (and it always takes me ages to realise - slow Mner here!)
Old version iPhone, but not using app

TitsForBrains · 31/12/2011 19:28

Same for me on iPad.

TheSkiingGardener · 31/12/2011 19:34

Same for me on safari on iPhone. I always assumed it was an iPhone thing not a site thing

Oeufman · 31/12/2011 19:44

Same here iPad and iPhone user - not using mobile version, staying on original website.

Iggly · 01/01/2012 13:15

iPhone

Hogmanayhoneyblossom · 01/01/2012 13:17

Same here, not boxing day though,29th, iPhone/safari.

ObviouslyOblivious · 01/01/2012 13:20

Same here on iPhone safari mobile version. I've never bothered to check what date it was though

cheesebaby · 01/01/2012 13:26

Same here using Safari, both on mobile version on iPhone and on full site on iPad. Has been happening for some time, but I've never checked what date it goes back to - iirc it varies.

HarrietJones · 01/01/2012 19:34

Threads I'm on also does it. Not all the time though

Olympics2012OliviaMumsnet · 01/01/2012 19:50

Hmm
I will ask Tech to have a look as to what is going on with the Space Time Continuum
Thanks

zgaze · 01/01/2012 19:50

Same here on iPhone & iPad

HarrietJones · 01/01/2012 20:04

You need K-9

Libra · 01/01/2012 20:20

If it helps, I am now lurching backwards and forwards between today and 30 December. So now completelt disoriented year-wise.

Libra · 01/01/2012 20:20
