i namechanged to see if i could still do it as a result of the fb thing, and now it won't let me change back, ffs. apparently my username is already in use (yep, by me)
any ideas? is it because you had to link my profiles after i flounced last time you put the fb/ twitter buttons in? 
so it's still showing as a different 'me'???
