iPhone app and links to threads

This has been posted about before, and I think tech thought it was resolved but it isn't.

When you click on a link in a post, nothing happens. It is only links to other threads within MN chat. External links are fine.

Please can you fix it? I miss half of what is going on because of it. Cheers.

Hello. And yes, we are doing something about this. In fact, we're doing quite a lot about the app at the moment - to make it all-round shinier and spiffier.

But we're afraid it may be some time till we can release the upgrade. Doing A Lot tends to take a bit of time.

Also, is there a way to start a thread on the app, as opposed to just replying to one? (thanks, & sorry for diversion but don't know how to start a thread to ask the question!!)

You can start a thread on the app. You need to go to the topics list find the topic you want to start a thread on and use the little cross at the top right that you use to add a message to an already started thread.

HQ please stop fibbing, you've been promising to fix internal links for months.
The app needs an up date. Please!
