Embarrassing as it is, I do not know how to namechange!

Ok, despite having been here for years, I have no idea how to namechange! I was going to finally get my butt in gear this year to get a Christmas name (as I feel like the only one who hasn't!) but I'm embarrassed to say I don't know how Do I have to set up a new profile/ rejoin? if I do that, how will I get my own name back after christmas?

Please help a dummy this Christmas...

You go into My Mumsnet up there ^^ then My Profile, put in your email address and password, then Registration Details. Namechange, then save. :) When you next log in, you have to use your new nick.

Ahem another daft name changing type question...

does that mean I can go back to my usual name after... What if someone else nicks it? Or does it get held in some cyberspace lock up?

It's locked up, you can safely namechange and change back. :)
