Emoticon bottleneck?

Just wondering if you lack emoticon designs or implementation. I mean it must be one of the two or there would already be boils, chocolate, cake and a bookmark would be good for people to ...well...you know...bookmark with.

It could try my hand at design...but you probably dont want me messing server side .

I've heard a rumour you can bookmark if you're using mumsnet new.

RowanMumsnet · 16/11/2011 21:52

MORE emoticons??

And you really want... a boil emoticon?

We will pass the matter to the Activation of Emoticons and General Flummery Committee and see what they say.

rowan ohhh I havent encountered you before! Are you a site stuff expert or something?

Actually I just really want an excuse to try and make some emoticons......and boils are probably pretty easy....and would totally blow the minds of the pus porn brigade.

Have seen the arguments against having more emoticons but wouldnt give a stuffed fig for the lot of them.

Emoticons = joy unbounded!

I can see possibilities for boil and cake-type emoticons, just nothing moving side-to-side or fucking bouncing or sparkling please...or cute (pombear just about gets away with it)

entropygirl can you, like, DESIGN these things?

Orbinator · 18/11/2011 00:57

Simply because someone just called me one on another thread, how about a BUNNY boiler emoticon Wink Hmm Smile

tallwivglasses · 18/11/2011 01:01

Oooh, link, Orb?

Orbinator · 18/11/2011 01:09

Oh believe me, this isn't really about bunny boiling.
It's a long and sad story about my supposed DP...

How about a hangman's noose as a symbol for "ditch the bastard"?

SarahStratton · 18/11/2011 17:15

I would really, really, really like boil and cake emoticons.

I'm tempted by the noose one too. Grin

Hassled · 18/11/2011 17:20

We have a boil emoticon. It looks like this:
Biscuit

SarahStratton · 18/11/2011 17:25

It's the worng way round though. It needs addressing.

JaneFeestelijkBierdekijn · 18/11/2011 17:25

Oh this is horrible, pLEASE spare a thought for those of us who do not LIKE BODILY FLUIDS OF ANY DESCRIPTION or the seeking and joyful anticipation thereof.

I can't type it but you KNOW what I am referring to. So ENOUGH. you disgusting bunch.

JaneFeestelijkBierdekijn · 18/11/2011 17:27

Oh and I think you definitely need your own topic as well. Called simply 'really disgusting stuff for strange people'.

GwendolineMaryLacey · 18/11/2011 17:28

No more sodding emoticons. It's getting like MSN round here!

crazynanna · 18/11/2011 17:32

Psst Rowan...can you not nick a few from here?

www.longdog.freeuk.com/smilies.htm

The one poking someone with a stick is pretty cool Wink

entropygirl · 19/11/2011 02:03

Well I never said I could actually do this...just that I would try if that would be useful.

So I have had a go at cocktail and bookmark and cupcake....

They are the wrong size coz it will only allow 30x30 as a minimum size instead of the required 19x19 hence they look a bit fuzzier here than they would do in the threads....

OP posts:
entropygirl · 19/11/2011 02:19

Pics on my profile btw.

Tried boil too although its harder than I was expecting.....

OP posts:
tallwivglasses · 19/11/2011 10:05

Ha! Not bad! (I see what you mean about the boil though. Maybe it should be worm's eye view though as it looks like a pretty flower?)
