Would you rather we only pressed "Report" during civilied hours unless it was a hifaluting emergency?

I have visions of the shortstrawdrawer duty HQer rubbing eyes and wandering downstairs in their wincyette nightie, responding bleary eyed to a Report post, only to find it's just some doily being reported because they have posted sneaky advert for Piranha Grooming in Dundee.

Are they certain hours during which MNHW would like us to be less trigger happy - only pushing the button for spiky bun fights and similar?

[considerate]

Thank you for being lovely and considerate Chaos but no is the simple answer.

Report away, the more the merrier. We may take a while to get back to you but we like and encourage reports, whatever the hour Wink

ChaosTrulyReigns · 11/11/2011 13:32

Ya sure?

RebeccaMumsnet · 11/11/2011 13:36

yes Grin

LoveBeingAFirework · 13/11/2011 06:55

(Wonders if the night shift is an on call system and they only get paid if there is something to deal with)

ChaosTrulyReigns · 13/11/2011 21:17

Interesting LoveBeing.

But I think there's probably no fear of gettinga ReportFree evening.

So if I write 'Mitmoo' five thousand times on a Sunday evening, I'll stir the MN Towers ladies from their cocoa and their wincyettes, earn them an extra quid or two in their wage packet (not that it's worth much these days), AND get myself banned - all at the same time?

Memoo · 13/11/2011 22:14

How do you know if someone has reported something in tbe middle of the night? Does a big red buzzer go off or do you have to sit up all night?

LoveBeingAFirework · 13/11/2011 22:16

That's a shame was gonna try and cut a deal for a cut of the money seeing as I'll be up in the night bf ds anyway Grin

ChaosTrulyReigns · 13/11/2011 22:16

Mem, There's got to be some sort of audible noise asn't there?

Confused

The sound of a biscuit wrapper being opened?

No it's one of thoses bells like on Downton Wink

LoveBeingAFirework · 13/11/2011 22:18

I think there must be a pole to slide down too, like a fireman.

KatieMiddIeton · 13/11/2011 22:20

I don't reckon they all wear wincyette nighties. I reckon Olivia has nice cuddly flannel pyjamas, Rebecca has something in soft jersey with drawstring trousers and ribbon trim on the top, Carrie's will be pink and Justine probably sleeps in that blue shirt she always wears on the telly.

The rest, almost certainly wear wincyette...

TheSkiingGardener · 13/11/2011 22:20

Sliding down a pole in a nightie is not a good idea.

I reckon you'd make more sliding down a pole in your nightie per hour than you'd get dealing with reported posts.

LoveBeingAFirework · 13/11/2011 22:25

Let's hope rowan isn't at the bottom

They've probably contracted out the night shift to a call-centre type facility in another time zone.

BeaOnSea · 13/11/2011 22:32

I think you are all mistaken to be imagining MNHQers in wincyette nighties & fluffy pyjamas.

I imagine MN Towers to be similar to a high security prison with the night staff stationed in a watchtower on Troll Watch. They will be dressed like Lara Croft.

KatieMiddIeton · 13/11/2011 22:37

I reckon Pasha's probably closest judging by this picture of one of the team. I won't say who because they were caught unawares and it'd be mean.

That's DamienTech there [wink

TheSkiingGardener · 13/11/2011 22:41

Dressing like Lara Croft isn't actually comfortable though is it. I mean, all that tight fitting non natural fibres. You'd just get sticky.

KatieMiddIeton · 13/11/2011 22:43

And you'd get thrush.

BeaOnSea · 13/11/2011 22:50

only a tenner though
