We need a clear up- I'm starting another thread.

They should have one in one out. They could then have 'twighlight topics' where they warn you that the 'ferret breeding section has very low traffic and will be removed if uptake does not increase'.

They should also have a section called 'help' where responses must be polite and you have to post something helpful once a week or you get banned for being a selfish shit.

What I have asked for and was toldit was worth considering is a ChatLite and a ChatHeavy (not actual names but descriptiins).

ChatLite for poofy inconsequential stuff.

ChatHeavy for:

more ponderous stuff
stuff that people manipulate titles of to try an erroneously stuff them in AIBU
threads that are worthy if keeping but don't quite make the grade for Classics.

Hopefully ChatHeavy would become the goto place for high traffic stuff and avoid AIBU being clogged up with stuff just because it's many posters' first port of call.

I would also support fewer topics on here and the extermination of a few emoticons.
