In the good old days, the message box was always there at the end of a thread, ready and waiting. You would type in your message and then add your log-in name & password and press 'send'. It was foolproof.
Then we changed to the current system. You have to log-in first and only then does the message box appear. You type your message, get distracted by the phone or the DC, wander off to hyperspace to check a reference, make a cup of tea ... and then press the 'send' button only to find the message gets lost because you have been logged out. 
Please, can we go back to the old system. I am fed up with losing my posts.
