waiting for ads1.mumsnet.com seems to be a hold up

It's been really slow on my computer for a while and I'm not using chrome. Other sites are fine, and mn is working fine on my phone.
Wonder what it could be.

it was faster today, but starting to slow down again

I've been finding it very slow for the past few days. Just Mumsnet, everything else is fine.

It seems to be speeding up a bit now, Rebecca, less hanging

The slowness was occurring across a range of topics all over the site

It might just be me, of course [paranoid]
