Proposed site changes survey: THE RESULTS

Like all the best result shows there is a pointless 2 and a half hour build up. Here's the link to the original thread and survey which is closing at 11am.

The closest result has just 24 votes between the top two answers so it really is still wide open.

Please feel free to use all the usual stock phrases and I'll be back just after 11am to weep tears of joy and proclaim us all winners, before announcing the real winner who gets a bottle of genuine Moldovan Piss-a Grigio.

Thanks for the unofficial survey KatieMortician - you seem extremely capable and more than worthy of employment but BIWI it seems is prepared to offer her services for an annual salary of "wine at the Christmas party" which is a very attractive proposition. Let us know if you are willing to consider a counter-bid.

We will be looking into a poll on aibu trial to test alongside and opt in like on chat Smile.

Mytopics has been on our list for some time - as part of an enormous overhaul of MyMumsnet, which is coming some time in the next year [crosses everything].

I'm not convinced of the hide poster as you know because of the potential for confusion on the boards. But we will give some thought to it - whether we trial it will come down to how much development effort required I suspect, as wouldn't want to throw huge resource at something that might not work.

Had to go and attend to RL but back briefly. I'm glad you all liked the pie-charts. I got them big by putting 800 in the resize box and it spat 360 back at me. Just goes to show I have no influence at the towers or the existing MyMumsnet photo upload. Grin

Hmmm as to a counter offer to BIWI. Well, I think I'd need to know how much the woman drinks. If it's anything like me it would be cheaper to put us both on the payroll... Anyhoo she's not a serious contender unless she has her own survey monkey account and a poll with forty-two hundreds of responses calling for a weekly survey and big salary. Wink I'm open to offers [easy emoticon] and a sucker for flattery.

Lenin has it right. It's all about the chase with this lot. Shameless.

Obviously you are all my favourites so in the end I scrolled up and down the thread randomly with my eyes closed and just stabbed at the screen.

I understand that is exactly how they do it at the towers but using a lady finger biscuit to select.

Well, obviously, I'm very upset about not winning the prize, but the pie charts made me happy.

I can't remember how I voted so I don't know whether I'm pleased with the results or not. We are going to end up with like button, aren't we?
