Grief Trolls

I didn't post this on the specific thread, for very obvious reasons. On Bree's awfully tragic thread this evening there was not just one but two trolls.

I don't know what they had posted, because both posts were deleted by the time I got to them. But both posters, melindaaa and bigcathy were first time posters on MN.

It's bad enough seeing trolling on the board generally, or the horrible stuff that is going on on the Feminist boards - but on bereavement threads?

WT actual F is going on?

I'm horrified, disgusted and sickened to think that people who have been bereaved are being targeted in this way.

I realise I could be being hugely assumptive here, but given the speed with which these posts were deleted, I suspect I am right

I haven't seen the thread in question but if that is the case then how awful of them. Trolling on bereavement threads just beggers belief :(

Hello BIWI
Just to clarify on that thread
One was deleted for trollhunting rather than being a troll.

and the other was deleted for being a weirdo/perv troll that we get from time to time - you know the sort. (had obviously picked up on an active thread.) Hence the swift deletions.

Hope this clarifies things
Thanks
M Towers

Thanks, Olivia.

However, both incredibly insensitive. Good job/glad that you deleted so swiftly.

Actually, I did suspect that the first one was a troll hunter - but it was the fact that said poster was a first timer that was odd.
