MNHQ, please help!

Every so often I come onto mumsnet and find I'm logged out, so I log in to find that all my writing and pictures have mysteriously vanished this has happened 2 or 3 times now! Why does it do this???

Can I suggest you check your browser security settings and also whether it is autoclearing the cache on a regular basis. Does anyone else use your computer who may be deleting your cache (perhaps to disguise their ahem, surfing habits)?

Nope, it's my laptop, and we only get the internet via plugging my phone into it, so DP only uses it when I'm here. And he's a technophobe, wouldn't have a clue how to go about deleting history!

Sorry about this- sounds annoying. Which browser are you using?

errm internet explorer 7 i think it is. Either 7 or 8 anyway!

OP, go to your browser, look at the top and the right hand drop down menu will say 'about' or something - click on it and it'll reveal your browser version. :)
