What is Pendants Corner?

I've come across some MN users that pull up on spelling in a bit of a nasty cat fight ding dong scenario. Are they what you call pendants?

This is Pedants' Corner:

Pedants feel very, very strongly about the correct usage of language in all its forms - spelling, punctuation, homophones, etc.

A pendant is something that hangs from a chain.

A pedant is someone takes accuracy, such as in spelling, very seriously.

Just like this post ...

Oooh. Have we got a jewellery topic now?

BodyofChristLegsofTinaTurner · 21/08/2011 00:04

Are. Strangely enough, I have recently visited Pedants' Corner. I may have been a bit silly and annoying there and made some words up on a thread and now it has disappeared! What the frippy frap is going on there then?

iklboo · 21/08/2011 00:06

It's all about apostrophes, baby.

BodyofChristLegsofTinaTurner · 21/08/2011 00:12

Hmm, don't you mean apostrophes'es ikl? That sort of thing. Hardly trollery.

ChaosTrulyReigns · 21/08/2011 00:50

Excellent linkage, Hope.

Mucho bumpage. (that sort of thing would seriously annoy a pedant, wouldn't it?)
