I've lost my Hmm

It's gorn! Is it a Firefox thing? Or do you just hate the hmm? I look like a right wally everytime I type Hmm and I don't get a sceptical face, but instead just get 'hmm' slightly lower than the rest of the type.

Please, pretty please, can you fix it?

you have a sceptical face.

TheMagnificentBathykolpian · 25/07/2011 22:21

I don't mean to imply that I just fixed it for you with the power of my mind.

I'll be honest, I'm good, but I'm not that good.

ScrambledSmegs · 25/07/2011 22:21

Not on my browser I don't. I'm on firefox and I'm wondering if that's the problem.

Grin.

Well thank god that works.

TheMagnificentBathykolpian · 25/07/2011 22:22

oh, you mean you can't see it? cos I'm looking at it in your OP and the face is there. What are you seeing?

TheMagnificentBathykolpian · 25/07/2011 22:23
Hmm

just switched over to firefox to see what I can see Grin

TheMagnificentBathykolpian · 25/07/2011 22:23

I see humpty face.

Sorry. I appear to be bog all use.

ScrambledSmegs · 25/07/2011 22:24

Well, 'hmm' but on a slightly lower level than the rest of the type. It's also not in the list of smileys down below (just shows as the word 'Sceptical').

I feel oddly bereft, even though I don't use it much!

I think it's me. I am a browsing freak Sad.

Yes. Clearly it's personal Grin

Have you tried the usual - restarting, clearing cookies etc etc

Threatening to reprogramme your pc with a 14lb lump hammer...

ScrambledSmegs · 25/07/2011 22:28

You have been wonderful, TMB. You have noticed my hmm-lessness, and tried to help. I freakin' love you man.

I am deeply troubled by your hmm-lessness, tbh. I fear I will be unable to sleep unless we bring the hmm back into your mning experience.

And I heartily recommend the 14lb lump hammer. I had the most dreadful time with my pc until we had a little chat about his attitude and I showed him The Reprogrammer.

ScrambledSmegs · 25/07/2011 22:34

Right. It's serious. I've re-started everything and it's still not here! I am considering the unthinkable.

Microsoft IE.

My adorable-but-geeky husband may never speak to me again.

TheMagnificentBathykolpian · 25/07/2011 22:35

IE? steady on, there's no call for that kind of behaviour!

ScrambledSmegs · 25/07/2011 22:40

I got it back! I got my Hmm back! Had to re-install firefox and delete some of DH's incredibly important rubbish, but it's here and it's Hmming lovely.

Wow. It's like losing your virginity all over again. I feel like a new woman.

ScrambledSmegs · 25/07/2011 22:41

Thanks TMB!
