How long does a CAT message take to arrive?

I realise that is like asking how long is a piece of string but, on an average working day, if a CAT message is left at lunchtime, when would the receiver expect to receive it please?

Hi

It depends on the person at mumsnet HQ in charge of forwarding CATS that day. Each one has to be sent on individually so if we're having a very busy day there may well be a few hours interlude in between sending one in and it being passed on - longer at weekends when cover is thinner.

Apologies if it's been a bit slow - I've done 3 batches of CATS since 9am - probably should have done them more frequently, especially as there are so many following the London meet up - so apologies....

Oh no problem - wasn't a criticism! - just wondering as nothing was happening! I suppose right now must be a busy time.
