Friends

Is is possible to have 'friends' on here and check out profiles as I havent worked this out yet???

You just check out profiles by clicking on the MNers name in the blue ribbon of one of their posts. Ie yours :

Starxx Mon 11-Jul-11 20:32:28

Click on the name, for example yours - Starxx - and the profile would come up, had it been made available by the MNer. You obviously haven't made yours available.

I tried that on your name but didnt go anywhere?

Also, what I mean was, like in other forums, can you add someone to your friend list and then maybe look at all the posts they have submitted?

(PS. Not sure how to make my profile visible lol).

Here on MN you have the option to make your profile public, or not.

Clearly you don't at the moment. Neither do I, hence you can't see anything about me.

But if you go into 'My Mumsnet' and then 'My Profile' you can add as much, or as little, as you like.

You can only see other MNers profiles if, when you hover over their names, there is an underline on their name in the blue ribbon.
