why can't I upload a photo to my profile?

I keep getting error messages... is the photo upload facility broken in some way?

I am not MN Tech, nor do I play them on TV, but does the error message say something specific?

I just uploaded one no problem.

the message says..

Oops! We encountered an error
Please try again. If the error persists, please drop a note to [email protected] and let us know what you were doing when it happened

I haven't sent an email yet, just wondered if there was something up before I sent one off.

I would send the email since I just had no problem!

Hi headfairy,

Often when an error occurs, it's because the image you were uploading was too big. Have you tried reducing the size? There's some tips on how to shrink images at the bottom of the upload page.
