That's fantastic!

I experience of Chernobyl Children and it's utterly heartbreaking.

One little girl came to our house for the afternoon and the experience has really touched our lives. Particularly DD2 who secretly emptied her piggybank for the charity.

Well done ilove and MNHQ.

Thanks everyone!

Just managed to get the school my young ones go to to agree to hold a non-uniform day for us on the last week of term which will hopefully raise some cash to go with the tickets to get them all an ice cream/McFilth etc Smile

I just cannot imagine sending my 10 year old thousands of miles away, to strangers, for a whole month, with people she doesn't know, in order for her to live a few years longer free of cancer...makes me cry. Yet these parents put their faith and trust in us.

I had a message from teh Gomel office with the details of the children - the last line said simply "thankyou for looking after our children"
