Hello my little chou-fleurs (sp?),
This is my fault (in as much as one ever accepts blame for anything). If, when you sign up to mumsnet or later, you tick the box to not get any email, the newsletter is blocked. If you later change your mind and un-tick the box, the block is never removed. I've fixed this now and the server is just transmitting a bunch of emails so you should get one in the next hour or so if you think you should be getting one and didn't get one overnight.
Other reasons you might not get it:
- We've had mail bounced from your address before. When this happens the server flags your address as "bad" and won't try again. you can see this on the member profile (comes up in red).
- Your ISP bounces our email as suspected spam.
- You registered from a company email and your company rejects the message as spam / having suspect content - this happens surprisingly frequently due to presence of words like "breast", which are used innocently, but don't often appear in business emails.
- You use AOL for email - AOL seems to bounce mail because it feels like it.
