abbreviations

can someone explain the abbreviations used on these parenting websites? dd, dh etc.. I assume they refer to children and partners, but I haven't figured it out..thanks

Have a look at the top of the page, there's a link that says acronym list.

DD - dear/darling daughter, DS - dear/darling son, etc.

Thank you WWB.. The world of acronyms has just opened its doors to me.. blimey. Feel a bit foolish now!
