2 very boring technical problems which need solving

1 - I have a PM in my inbox which has been there for months and I cannot delete it, I have ticked the box but it just won't go.

2 - I cannot post messages on my blackberry whilst on the mobile site. I am logged in, enter correct nickname and password, however when I submit my post it comes up 'username/password incorrect'

Please can you fix this o techy genius.

still problems with PMs which may date back to before Christmas but I've forgotten how long ago it was when I first posted about them

o for Sent items, up/down to next item goes back to list of them all

o for Inbox items, say you have 2 new messages, viewing one, then using up/down to view the other, does not clear it as being "new and unread" so if you then go back to Talk the 'new mail' indicator is still on, and the message you have already read is flagged as unread when you view your Inbox. Seems like only clicking on it from the message list resets the flag for being 'new and unread' (though I have not exhaustively tested, since I cannot send test messages to myself!)

Glad not forgotten... minor irritations but appear overlooked (where they really are just lower on your very long list)

Yes, this is a Zombie thread, untouched for a while, but

I just came across that, when hitting the trash can to delete a message after viewing it. As a side effect, it then screwed up ever subsequent message I saw, telling me the correct subject and contents, but giving the wrong name for the sender. No doubt this second issue is realted to the first (non deletion).

So whatever was done to make the "tick a list and hit delete" work (mince pies all round for that!), something needs to be fixed on hitting the trashcan while viewing a message you decide to delete.

OH, and just saw the time... MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE

I guess Tech can have today off, but fix it tomorrow, OK

Actually, I've just noticed something odd with PMs too - so thanks for reviving this thread NetworkGuy.

When I've got a new PM, the box changes to yellow with the red dot (as it should), but when I click on My Mumsnet to show the drop down menu, My Inbox still says 0. But going into the Inbox the new PM is there.

And, yes, Happy Christmas
