new message box; what's with the hyphens striking phrases out again?

Mostly the question about the hyphens resulting in an unintentional strikeout.

Hmm Not quite sure what the question is here, but to do a strike out put two hyphens around your message. like so
But if you just want -emphasis- single hyphens shouldn't do anything to the word! Hope that helps.

Just trying it out saying hello. Smile

My hyphens weren't touching the letters but struck out all the same.

I'll try it again .

New message box looks odd.

Also I've noticed that since we've had the convert link box there are lots more unconverted links then there've ever been - does it not always work?

DamianTech · 22/03/2011 17:38

@caughtinanet: You'll get used to it I think, though we're going to shorten it slightly, as it's rather taller than it needs to be at the 'mo.

Convert links works fine as far as we know, but obviously will only work if people remember to tick it. Perhaps forgetfulness is just playing its part? If you do run into any problems with it, let us know. We squashed an issue with convert links on the create a new thread page (on MN classic) recently, though that's probably not responsible for the majority of unconverted links.
