for sale etiquette question

hiya!!
I'm thinking of selling a few bits and was thinking of posting them on the for sale boards. Dh suggested putting them on ebay.
So if I put them on ebay is it acceptable to put an "ad" in for sale and link to ebay?

what is the done thing??

It p*sses a lot of regular posters off when "for sale only" posters do that.

I've been tempted though!

hmmmm would make sense wouldn't it soupdragon?!, would anyone object if "regular"(hate that terminology, but ykwim - people who post in all threads, not just on for sale) did this??

It wouldn't bother me if a "regular" did it; hacks me off when the professional sellers do it though.

champs · 16/10/2005 18:53

ok, i'm going to do it..... any objectors please post ...

Ooooh, does that mean no one's going to jump on me if I post a link to the things I've got on Ebay at the moment? Am I a regular poster?
