It sounds like your browser may be blocking pop-up windows from opening on Mumsnet. You can "whitelist" MN (depending on which browser you use) to re-enable popups for this site. This page has some useful info on how to do this.

If you can't get a link to open directly you may be able to reach it by right-clicking the advert and choosing "Copy link location" or "Copy shortcut" or similar, then right-clicking the address bar at the top and choosing "Paste".

Thanks Damian, not sure that was the problem though as I can click through on all other adverts and or links.

Doesn't matter anyway I've lost the urge to check out Sainsbury's budget meals.
