Would it in any way be possible to choose which threads you are on in the 'threads I'm on' section. Sometimes I fill my full quota, but a lot of threads I have rather lost interest in and don't want to see again! So like in threads I'm watching, having a delete bit is what I think I mean. Anyone get me?

Ok, now I'm rather worried that I am the only one here who hits that horrible 'More than 40 threads in the past four days'.

Can't believe I am alone in this? Cod, with all your one word postings surely this is hell for you?

I know what you mean and have thought the same thing myself. I am not normally on many threads, but would like to delete some that are no longer of interest, and also have the chance to save others for longer than the usual time period.

I am sure you are not alone in your fluency

QueenVictoria · 12/10/2005 22:24

Ha ha! i know what you mean floss! i only bother looking at watched ones otherwise id end up like lost too!

LadyTophamHatt · 12/10/2005 22:24

I'm up to 40 now.....it's agood idea floss.

Any chance HQ?

hunkerpumpkin · 12/10/2005 22:25

Yep, good idea. Not that I ever post so much that I get that message in red at the top of the screen.

WigWamBam · 12/10/2005 22:26

It's a brilliant idea, I'm forever on more than 40 threads and would love to delete the ones I don't want to see any more!

scaryman · 12/10/2005 22:30

I thought this was going to be a thread about who is the most demanding mumsnetter.

hunkerpumpkin · 12/10/2005 22:31

I demand you all think it's...

Don't you all agree?

Chandra · 12/10/2005 22:33

me too! so no chances for this to gain momentum and break some records?

scaryman · 12/10/2005 22:33

Totally!

RTKMonherBROOMSTICK · 12/10/2005 22:34

I would like a system for alerting us to an earlier thread we were on that has had new posts added after several days or weeks

cos the watching thread would have to be done for all of them if that was scase

FrightfullyPoshFloss · 13/10/2005 17:11

Bump.

OP posts:
flamebat · 13/10/2005 17:13

I never think to watch threads... I just lose the ones I was interested in because they go poof after however many days

SoupDragon · 13/10/2005 17:17

Alternatively, you could stop posting for a few days to lower the number of threads you're on.

Snigger

FrightfullyPoshFloss · 13/10/2005 17:18

Sorry, SD, I think I need instructions on how to do that....

OP posts:
crunchie · 13/10/2005 17:19

I like the idea of being able to check threads I'm on for longer than 3 days (for those who fall off the bottom) I have never reached the magic 40 though

crunchie · 13/10/2005 17:19

OOh just checked I have now

hunkerpumpkin · 13/10/2005 23:18

SD, I didn't know you knew Martian!

Didn't understand a word of that last post!

Tinker · 13/10/2005 23:25

Ooo, yes, I want to keep threads I'm on for longer than 3 days (or whatever it is) It's all buggered up if you have a long w/e away from the pc

FrightfullyPoshFloss · 13/10/2005 23:27

Well, judging by the number of needy posts in recent days I nominate me. But I have already admitted that I am demanding in the title, so we all knew that already, really didn't we?

Aww, thanks! I've never thought of you as demanding either Rickman.
