strikethrough

The strikethrough function has been changed so that you don't have to stylise each individual word, but it's now far too indiscriminate. It will strikethrough all of the text following a double hyphen unless you close it with another double hyphen or end the paragraph. It would probably be better if it only stuckthrough the text contained between two sets of double hyphens.

Hi DamselInDisguise. I think I know the post you're talking about which caused you problems. Text was given a strikethrough because of the "--" separating sections of text.

We'll take a look at making it more friendly with the double hyphens. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

I can’t strikethrough any more as my phone has started the join up the double hyphen, like this ‘—‘ if I put three it does this ‘—-‘. Any ideas? (Get a Samsung is not really what I’m looking for here Wink)

For iphone/ipad

settings > general > keyboard > turn off smart punctuation
