Public page for different nicknames

Seems that if you set up a public page its libnked to one nickname. Is it possible to have an option for those that sometimes change names but still want to keep the same profile up?

If you look at your public profile in My Mumsnet, there is a profile mover so you can move your profile between nicknames.

Thanks - will look. But ideally wanted to be able to set all nicknames used to the same profile - not that have hundreds to choose from Wink.

when you make a new nickname it would make sense to have an option to link it to an existing profile. Sometimes you wouldn't want to link it because it is you hiding name, but other times you would because you are just changing because you are bored with your old one, or being seasonal.

Exactly.

Profile mover allows you to move your public profile (biog, favourite books, photos etc) between nicknames.

For example - over Halloween I was BloodAarghsBite. I created the new nickname then moved my public profile from Blatherskite to BloodAarghsBite using the profile mover. After Halloween when I went back to Blatherskite, I used the profile mover to move my public profile back from BloodAarghsBite to Blatherskite again.

I didn't have to recreate any details, I just moved the whole lot over with one click.

Not quite the same as linking all nicknames to one profile but then you're only ever using one nickname at a time right?

If you want to hide, then just don't move the profile.
