MN site still defaulting to mobile version

MN still defaulting to the mobile version on my iPhone.

It's upsetting, please make it stop.

Worries MN will start kettling troublemakers in mobile site hell and never let us back into the real one.

I like using my iPhone horizontally which is impossible on the mobile version... And the font is so large it hurts my eyes... And in active discussions I can't see how popular (how many posts) a thread is... And I get none of the smiley advice... And even if I remember what to write for a particular smiley it looks wrong... And I'm going to get RSI from all the scrolling I have to do just to see thread titles... And so on and so on !

Okay I've now found the smiley hints, but I really can't imagine scrolling all the way down there just to give you lot an face!

Honestly Mumsnet I appreciate someone has gone to a lot of hardwork to produce a mobile site... On some mobiles I can see how it's necessary, but not on an iPhone... Please at least allow us a choice!

ah but the mobile site works great on the blackberry. keep it!!

We should have a choice. For example I can choose to use the BBC or guardian website or mobile site on my iPhone. It doesn't force me!

I have no problem with keeping it, so long as iPhone users can opt out!

There is a link at the bottom to go to the standard site, but that doesn't seem to be working at the moment -it just takes you to the mobile version of the home page

How do you get a thread noticed by the Mumsnet tech team?

Report the OP and explain you want them to look at it. They do check but reporting is quicker. I did that this morning.
