Threads I'm on but not for long

I've never worked out how long exactly threads stay in my 'I'm on' area but it's not long enough! There must be another way of making a thread a favourite or something if I want to keep track of it but not necessarily keep on 'marking my place' etc. Any one know how to do this? Thanks

You can change the number of days in Customise. I think it's up to 5 days.

Click on "watch this thread". They stay forever (unless they're in "chat").

I think I've set my threads I'm on to 7 days.
