What's happened with the mumsnet mobile site?

It has changed Hmm.

The font size is now smaller so it doesn't fill the screen the way it used to. Is now approaching the size of the "normal" one ie you need to zoom in to br able to read it which rather takes away the point.

Had happily moved over to the mobile version when using iPod touch but am not happy with it any more. Please change it back to how it was Smile.

Reading an actual thread is ok but Active Conversations is Too Small. And the bit at the top where you click Active is also Too Small.

I have a feeling I moaned when it was introduced Blush.

I have it too -it seems to be a 'text-only' version, which is usually an indication that there's a problem. It started at about the same time as the logging in problem and apparently that was due to new code releases, so it looks like something has not been updated on the mobile site...

Tee2072 · 12/11/2010 16:43

Yeah, it is impossible to read without zooming in. Agree that this has killed the point of having a mobile version!

DollyTwat · 12/11/2010 16:45

Please put it back!

I loved it before

GregoryPeck · 12/11/2010 17:15

yes I have noticed a change today ( on iPhone) and not happy at all.

DollyTwat · 12/11/2010 17:17

Its fixed
Thank you

I can't cope with the mobile version. The font is enormous, plus I am finding it ridiculously difficult to log in/stay logged in, so I don't MN from my phone at all now.
Am using Dolphin on android.

MrsBadger · 22/11/2010 09:31

Just found the mobile site after some time away but my god it renders badly (Samsung native browser on Android)
Hope they haven't charged you much for it...

That's me

"Just found the mobile site ... but my god it renders badly"

That's me as well

We've taken a look at some of the font sizing issues and things should now be more usable on Android devices.

welshdeb · 24/11/2010 16:43

Well it's gone all funny on my iPhone . The font is big but it's also all squashed longways down the page

Rockbird · 24/11/2010 16:45

I rather like it. But it doesn't show how many replies there have been so you don't know if it's worth clicking on a thread :o

IloveBafanaBafana · 24/11/2010 16:49

ts gone funny for me too, Welshdeb, I thought that I had messed up the settings!

BitOfFun · 24/11/2010 17:40

You've buggered the i-Phone display for it now, haven't you?

welshdeb · 24/11/2010 18:25

It's a bit better now but it's still a bit squashed up long ways.
