On a really long thread you have to scroll right the way up through the thread to get to Active/I'm on/I'm watching etc

and also the fist/last page thing.,

Can we have the same bars in both places?

Yes, Posie - it is actually on The List of Things To Be Done.

But the List is huuuuuuuuugely long, so we can't promise when we'll be able to get to this one.

You mean you have more urgent things to do than save my scrolling finger???Wink

Posie do you have an iPhone? If you tap the grey bar at the top it takes you straight to the top.

What I want is a shortcut to get to the bottom.

DancingIceDragons · 01/11/2010 17:20

Well they still havent got back to me over the fact that my post button doesnt always work and i get a weird message instead. Which is bloody annoying. However, i like your suggestion. It would be useful. And i expect it will get done sooner then anyone considers solving my post problem :o

If you're on a computer, just press 'home' to get to the top of the page.

Dancing, what's wrong with your post button?

mylifewithstrangers · 01/11/2010 17:42

Yes SOH is right, the Home key takes you to the top and the End key takes you to the bottom. I use them all the time!

DancingIceDragons · 01/11/2010 18:25

Its doing that weird error message preview view thing again. Only this time it isnt posting the message

ShowOfHandsInEpistolaryForm · 01/11/2010 18:46

I've had it happen to me again recently. And yes, not posting. Been going on for years intermittently.

DancingIceDragons · 01/11/2010 18:54

Yes but its really pissing me off as it has been pretty persistant for the last couple of months.

DanceInTheDark · 01/11/2010 18:58

It's obviously not happening all the time Dancing or you wouldn't be able to post at all. I get it from time to time.

Thanks for the reminder about Home and End H! I had forgotten that useful shortcut!
